Let's Meet the Band
TERRY
Terry Armitage has been teaching for over 30 years and has worked with bands for the last 15 years. He was the Canadian representative for the London College of Music UK (Registry of guitar tutors - RGT) for 6 years, and assisted in writing the Popular Music Theory course for the London College of Music; this course is used in most music colleges in the UK. He was also instrumental in setting standards in guitar education across Canada; some of the patrons for RGT are Sir Paul McCartney, David Gilmour, Hank Marvin, and Gordon Giltrap.
NORM
Hi, I'm Norm. I have been involved with music in one form or another for the past sixty years, starting with piano. When I got to secondary school I couldn't drop piano fast enough and started in the school band on trumpet / cornet. Very shortly after, I picked up bass guitar and have been playing both off and on 'til about twenty years ago. Since then, I have been performing in bands regularly on bass or cornet. I have been with The Golden Daze Band since 2014
